Organic Bircher Muesli with Pear & Raisin Serves 4 what you need: 100g (1 cup) organic rolled oats 150ml (3/4 cup) pear juice 1/3 cup organic natural yoghurt 1 Tbs lemon zest 50g organic dried raisins 1 fresh pear or 2 pear halves preserved or tinned, sliced 1/4 cup raw almonds, toasted and ground what you do: Put the rolled oats and the pear juice in a bowl and soak for one hour or overnight(if desired). roast almonds in the oven at 160 deg C for 15 minutes add yoghurt, raisins & lemon zest to rolled oats, mix well ground almonds roughly, as desired in a food processor divide muesli evenly into four serving bowls serve with sliced fresh pear (in season) or preserved pear (out of season) on top sprinkle with ground almonds enjoy Organic Preserved Pears with ginger & honey from The 1910 Bottling Company are ideal for this dish.
